I've been having to review things of this matter lately, because sometimes I get bombarded with doubt, frustration and other factors which can get emotional. And from that point, I'd have to stop and get my bearings.
So when this happens, these are the things that I do first.
Be Grateful
- Good or Bad: Own It...
I have to take a step back, breathe and recognize where I'm at right now - at this very moment, and be grateful for that. And it doesn't matter if I'm in the middle of a bad situation feeling loss, or helplessness and even ungrateful.
In my daily grateful journal I'd sometimes start with "Thank you for helping me recognize that I'm ungrateful right now..." and go from there.
Because what happens at that very moment is that we're owning this experience and taking responsibility for it. And it's really important to do that, because this is the very first step to constructively move on from wherever I'm at.
And if you don't have the will to be grateful...
- Ask for it.
In my journal or in my mind, I can say... "I ask for the will to be grateful and accept the sacred guidance for my journey."
And after I've recognized my actual desire through reflection, research and guidance, that's when I can begin the process of starting.
I've found it beneficial to celebrate these small victories with praise and admiration in my heart, and I do this by being thankful for it.
So the next thing for me is simple...
- Be Thankful For Recognizing Your Desire
And with that - I say or write down in my journal that "I'm thankful for the guidance to recognize and receive my desire to move on with my course of action."
From here, we're now ready to make our way through the journey by going through the obvious processes...
- Recognize and accept what you want
- Discover what is needed to get it
- Employ what is needed to get it
- Don't stop unless you need more guidance
For me this is the very beginning of getting on the path to acquiring my desire and it can be applied to any type of situation.
This for me, has proven itself 100% of the time to begin or restart a process.

But be warned, especially when you ask for the will to have or do something.
Because you just might get it... (good or bad.)
So be very specific and be sure to ask for guidance, which may lead to research into yourself and the world around you.
