We have an innate sense of protecting ourselves which naturally seeks out dangers with a microscope like accuracy.
The problem with this is that if we only focus on negative perceptions and fail to see the things that are actually working to our benefit; our natural tendency is to stay in this area to further protect ourselves.
And this in turn can become a revolving door to more negativity, robbing us of enriched experiences that we may long for.
At the age of three, four or maybe even younger, I realized that there were restrictions on the way I should express my emotions. So I gradually adjusted myself to hold them in and or avoid them completely. This poised a protective barrier between me and the world.
And as I got older I was able to add more protection through intimidation and confrontation. But deep down inside I knew something was missing and the self care that I was practicing wasn't well balanced.
And somehow I had a feeling that this coping mechanism wasn't serving me well enough to be of better use to myself and others.
Turning Mistakes Into Abundance
Couple of years ago I began growing Pakalolo (Cannabis). And since it was my first grow I made a ton of mistakes and learned from them.
One of which was having to deal with re-vegetation. And this occurs when the plant is confused about it's light cycle and begins to flower. Unfortunately my plants began to flower in April when placed outdoors, which is NOT the time to flower.
So I did research at that time and found very little information on what to do in this situation. And I took what knowledge I could find and used my intuition and trimmed off the flowers at a specific point during it's confused flowering cycle.
And what happened truly amazed me! Because at the end of the season my plants doubled in size and also doubled in bounty. Thus empowering my first grow season with plants up to seven feet tall and over ten to fifteen pounds of cured flower.
But it took mindfulness of the moment and seeking out solutions while using my own understanding to bring the season into a bountiful harvest.
Growing bud also taught me a lot about myself as well. I discovered that by owning every moment and not letting it persuade me to give up, I was able to seek out the solution to my problems and come out on top.
Cultivate The Abundance Mindset
Gratitude and abundance go hand in hand and enriching one's life can be directly related to acting on opportunities that attract a cycle of good fortune.
After my harvests I was able to give freely and generously for months. And I haven't even grown anything for over a year! That's a lot of bud...
Not only did I learn to grow a ton of weed, I also discovered that I've had to recognize possibilities to further my endeavors in growing, backing up specific strains, and crossbreeding too.
And this mindset involves having the ability to be grateful, be generous, knowing what works and where you are at the moment, observe others successes and opportunities, create win-win situations and celebrate successes to savor the good times.
For myself, I've had to re-manage my old ways of protection and embrace new and efficient ways to complete the journey of abundance in my life.
And I send out these vibes to you!
Mahalo & Aloha 🤙🏽
