The Cost of Poverty

Reconciliation

It is not our responsibility to make others reconcile their behaviors toward us. That is their responsibility for them to bear, or even let go.

Our responsibility is to be aware of the wrongs, accept the circumstance and choose to let it go or linger with us for eternity.

This takes great understanding and compassion, for we at times would need to see through a different lens. To envision their current and generational frustrations, shame, grief and guilt. And how they managed to let it go and move on, regardless of any reconciliation between us or not.

Also true is the reconciliation that we need to address in ourselves, because we might have to forgive ourselves for denying our higher purpose and for letting the ego take control instead.

Seeking justice, we find ourselves here with questions that are beyond our control. But what we can control is how we feel about it. Do we feel the need to keep reliving the helplessness, injustice and pain?

Or shall we let it go and finally be free?

Aloha & Mahalo! 🤙🏽
